Medicaid estate recovery is when the state agency which administers Medicaid (in Arkansas, it’s DHS) seeks reimbursement from the estate of a deceased Medicaid recipient for the cost of benefits given, especially nursing home care. Our attorney is experienced in helping families to navigate this process and to reduce the hardship that it frequently imposes.
